This week is the first of a series in which we’ll be featuring communities and towns in Boulder County and this week we’re talking Lafayette, Colorado.  The secret seems to be out when it comes to Lafayette as it was one of top appreciate towns in the Boulder area.  Situated in the front rage, it is convenient to both Boulder and Denver.  The town has a population of about $26,000.  There are many reason why people are flocking to Lafayette.  On the whole it is more affordable that Boulder proper and it offers numerous ways for residents to get plugged in and feel like they are a part of something special.

Lafayette has 20 neighborhood parks.   Lastly, another notable amenity that Lafayette has to offer is the YMCA which boasts an incredible indoor skating rink, state-of-the-art fitness center, cultural arts center and senior services.
